NAHL announces third Future Prospects Tournament in January

The North American Hockey League (NAHL) has announced additional event dates and on-going registration availability for another season of Future Prospects Tournaments (FPT) in 2017-18.
 
The latest addition is going be a third FPT event, which will take place from January 26-29, 2018 at the Schwan Super Rink in Blaine, Minnesota.
 
Because of popular demand, the 2017-18 season now includes different Future Prospects Tournaments, with each event showcasing Tier I teams in 18U, 16U and 14U levels from across the country.
 
Registration for the third FPT event in Blaine, MN, is now open.

"Response for the North American Hockey League Future Prospects Tournaments (FPT) this season has been great, so therefore, we have added a third event,” said NAPHL Director Tony Zasowski. “Each FPT provides teams with exposure and access to the NAHL and our family of leagues.  By combining each FPT with North American Prospect Hockey League events in 2017-18, we are creating a high-energy, and scout-friendly hockey environment.”
 
There are now three NAHL Future Prospects Tournament scheduled for the 2017-18 season, one in October, one in December and now an additional one in January. All of the FPT’s for the coming year will take place in Blaine, Minnesota at the Schwan Super Rink.
 
2017-18 Dates:
Friday, October 20th – Monday, October 23rd (limited availability)
Friday, December 1st – Monday, December 4th (limited availability)
Friday, January 26th – Monday, January 29th
 
“There will over a thousand bantam and midget-aged players competing in a single venue over the course of four days,” continued Zasowski.  “Our FPTs have attracted top Bantam, Midget, and Academy teams from all of the United States.  The 2017-18 tournaments will undoubtedly draw a highly competitive group of teams at each level.”
 
The intent and goal of all North American Future Prospects events is to provide the aspiring hockey player an opportunity to take part in a one-of-a-kind learning experience.
