Aberdeen forward Sullivan makes NCAA DI commitment

July 5, 2017
The Aberdeen Wings, proud members of the North American Hockey League (NAHL), are pleased to announce that forward Nolan Sullivan has committed to play NCAA Division I hockey at the University of Nebraska-Omaha.

Sullivan, 18, is from Eden Prairie, Minnesota.  The 6’0/200 lbs. forward joined the Wings after the conclusion of his high school season in Eden Prairie.

In the eight games spent during the regular season with the Wings Nolan netted a goal and two assists for three points. In 12 playoff games, Sullivan also had three points as the Wings went all the way to the Robertson Cup Semi-Finals.

In the 25 games played with Eden Prairie, Nolan compiled 17 goals and 21 assists.  "Nolan was a great addition to this years team.  He was a big part of our success down the stretch.  Nolan has a very high IQ for the game.  The Mavericks are getting a very good player and a first class individual,” said Wings Head Coach Scott Langer.

"I really enjoyed my time in Aberdeen.  It's always tough joining a team that late in the season, so having the culture set up by Coach Langer & Bohn really makes Aberdeen unique.  It's a family that makes everyone feel welcomed, so I couldn't be more thankful for the Wings family allowing me to Enjoy The Ride with the team,” said Sullivan.
